For sale is this super rare YPC-1 passive preamp. It is masterpiece by Yamaha, designed to pair with the legendary MX-D1 digital amp. While simple, this preamp is an absolute statement piece showcasing the best Yamaha could do. Its heavy and built with only high-end parts. It is actually a fantastic match with a bunch of other Yamaha amps; The YPC-1 with my B-3 is the best combination of Yamaha gear Ive ever had, and Ive tried many. These days Im using a streamer/DAC combo for simplicity, and I have not been using it. I figure someone might want one for their MX-D1; with an original MSRP of $2k, these are extremely hard to find. The unit is in almost pristine condition with no blemishes or any issues at all.
