This is my Black Yamaha AS701 hifi amplifier in excellent condition. Very well reviewed by the hifi press, it has the renowned Yamaha quality and reliability. Ive only used it for a couple of hours each week and sensibly. The sound is excellent and will suit many speakers as its 100 watt rms per channel will drive even the most insensitive speakers 4ohm or 8 ohms (switch on back of the amp). It can run two sets of speakers although Ive never done this. Sub-woofer socket but Ive never had to use a sub with this amplifier as I found the bass was normally enough. The mm phono input gives good results from a turntable which is great if youre into vinyl. Optical and digital inputs into the onboard DAC as well as several rca inputs including cd. Source Direct and CD Direct settings to maximise the signal. Bass,Treble,Balance and Variable Loudness switches mean you can tailor the sound to suit your taste or speaker. Headphone socket and remote control, which Ive never needed to use, as well as the manual. It comes with its original box and packing.
