This is an original Musical Fidelity X-DAC digital audio converter for use with a CD player or transport that has a digital output via either coax or Toslink. Ive been the sole owner and the converter is in very good cosmetic condition though it has not been used in a few years. It powers up but Im not currently able to test its functioning. Two of the original small rubber feet are missing. I enjoyed this system for several years and found it was a significant upgrade over my lower-end Teac and Harmon/Kardon CD players when used without it. The X-DAC noticeably increased the richness of the sound and brought out a more realistic and smoother clarity of the instruments in a good recording. Im including a 1 meter (> 3 feet) Kimber Kable Digital Link coax cable. This is the cable I used with the X-DAC and it paired nicely with the unit.
