These sound absolutely fantastic with Incredible clarity and pure mid-range. With three drivers each, you dont even need a subwoofer. Except for a couple of minor blemishes as seen in the pictures, with some of the veneer slightly unglued and a slight tear on one cover, these are in excellent condition and sound just like they should, amazing! I realize the shipping is absurd, but these are not very light and they are three and a half feet tall. FedEx charges by size almost more than weight so they will not be inexpensive to ship and each one will require two modified boxes and two full rolls of bubble wrap for protection and that is $55 right there. This listing is for a pair of Wharfedale 8 2075H woofers, removed from a Valdus 400 speaker I have parted out. These were also used in the Valdus 300 & 500. Each woofer had stress cracks in the original rubber surround, so I replaced them. There is not a direct replacement surround available that fits under the cone, so I used one that fit like a glove glued to the front of the cone. I used premium, USA made rubber surrounds. Both have been tested with music, a 30Hz test tone & a multi meter. Both sound & work great. Impedance is 8 ohms & DCR = 7.5 (#1) & 7.6 (#2).

One speaker has 2letters (LE) missing from its front grill and a few minor scratches but otherwise well looked after and superb addition to any hifi home entertainment system.
