Quelques rayures dusage sur le capot mais rien de méchant. Tournante et fonctionnante. Prévoir petite révision (probablement courroie, cellule...). Retrait à Nice ou envoi possible mais risqué compte tenu de la fragilité de lappareil. Good morning, Following a change of project, I am selling my Thorens td 125 mk2 turntable. Complete with original hood and hinges. Missing the 45t centralizer. A few scratches from use on the hood but nothing bad. Rotating and working. Plan for a small overhaul (probably belt, cartridge, etc.). Collection in Nice or sending possible but risky given the fragility of the device.

THORENS TD125 Mk2 REDESIGNED 3-SPEED CONTROL CIRCUIT BOARD Description NOTE: Although it says used this is a brand new board assembled by the seller and connected to a Thorens turntable for testing and adjustment. NOTE - THERE IS A 3-WEEK LEAD TIME FOR MAKING THE BOARDS This is a brand-new 3-SPEED circuit board for the Thorens TD125 (Mk2) which gives 16,33+45rpm speeds. The speed-change slider and fine-speed adjustment on the facia of the turntable work the same as the original. I make a different version of the board for the Mk1. The boards are provided as a plug-and-play replacement for the old board (although screw on, solder and play would be more accurate!) Ive owned a number of TD125s over the years and they have nearly all had temperamental speed control. This is not too surprising because the turntables are now around 50-years-old! The electrolytic capacitors, transistors, sliders, lamp, op-amps, solder connections and printed circuit board can all give trouble but just about anything on the board can fail, making fault-finding tricky and frustrating. I developed the new speed-board as a labour of love to get my current cranky old Thorens working. Its circuit board had multiple problems so I decided to design a complete replacement for assembly in my own workshop. I originally developed the board for the TD125 Mk2 but I have since modifed the design to work with the Mk1 which has a different motor and transformer. Producing the new board was long process partly because of the completely redesigned switching system. The new mechanism uses microswitches in place of the troublesome sliding metal contacts. This means none of the old board has to be salvaged for the new board. It is a drop-in replacement for the old board and is bolted in the same place as the original board. The speed control lever works the same as does the fine speed-adjustment knob. It is a very careful re-design of the original board. It uses the same Wein bridge oscillator circuit but the circuit board has been reconfigured with updated components. For instance, the new smd transistors are superior and reliable compared to the originals which are easy to overload and damage.  The re-designed printed-circuit boards are professionally fabricated. The structural components used with the board were very carefully designed using CAD and are professionally printed using SLS technology.  The new owner has to unsolder the 8 wires attached to the original board and resolder them to the new board.  Full instructions (with photos) sent by email. What you get is a fully working speed control board which has been connected up to one of my own turntables and adjusted. Only minor further tweaking should be needed in another TD125. This is in good used condition. It has been in the family for many years, but has not been used for quite some time. The plastic lid has some scratches etc and I have tried to include as many pictures as I can to give you an honest all round description This has an SME 3009 ARM complete with wires and weights and in good working order. Also a SHURE V15 cartridge/stylus Which as you will be aware are quite rare and valuable on their own It plugs in and turns on but it currently has the original connectors for the amp which we no longer have and they are out-dated, so we are unable to plug into our current amp. We have purchased a new connector and can have it replaced at the new owners request...but respect of all things vintage, we will leave in original condition. This Rare original Thorens TD125 Mk2 deck was bought by my late brother in1970, over the years he has kept it totally original changing the stylus every few years and replacing drive belts as required. I have been using it almost daily for the last two years and it works perfectly. It has a Shure VN cartridge and stylus with a two old styluss that I expect are fine as my brother changed them every few years whether they need to be or not. The plastic lid is in very good condition with extremely slight surface scratches as you would expect from a turntable that over 50 years old, the platter and all of the other parts are in excellent condition as is the veneer case. It has the original TP16 tone arm, this is often changed but this is what came with the original specification. I have seen one of these advertised for over £1500. Im not expecting that but I think it is worth at least the starting price given its condition and rarity value, that it has a rare and excellent cartridge and stylus with spare styluss I wont be giving it away for less than I feel its worth so I have set a reserve accordingly. I may be able to deliver to the Oxford area if that helps, possibly London or Midlands at my convenience Details below: The Thorens 125 was made by EMT in Lahr, Germany. Following the legendary TD 124, the TD 125 was the next ‘state of the art’ turntable. The series TD 125 were costly to produce, with a cast metal chassis. The MK II came with the above noted TP16 tonearm that featured a completely new gimbal bearing design. And the TP16 was always offered with a remote cable operated cue mechanism. The TD125 has taken a giant step in banishing rumble, with solid state circuitry replacing the conventional mechanical methods used for electronic speed control. This reduces the number of moving parts and total mass so frequently a rumble producing factor. Motor rotor velocity, another rumble originator, is precisely governed by a dependable Wein Bridge transistorised oscillator. Its frequency is varied exactly to change the speed of the motor and these adjustments may be viewed instantly on the built-in stroboscope. Motor rotor speed on the TD-125 has been reduced to an incomparable 250rpm at 33 1/3rpm turntable speed. By combining this factor with solid-state circuitry and the Wein Bridge oscillator, Thorens has reduced rumble to an infinitesimal and inaudible -48db (-68db weighted); less rumble than any other turntable on the market. The tonearm and turntable platter of the TD-125 are mounted on an independent chassis. This unit is then shock mounted to another chassis which houses the drive system and controls. As a consequence the tonearm is protected against shocks when the controls are operated and acoustic feedback is minimised because of the absence of vibrations. Vibrations are further decreased by the precision polished, self-lubricating bearings of the turntable platter. The Thorens TD 125 is a turntable classic still sounding better than most new tables sold today.

Thorens TD 125 MK2 mit Magnetlager Tonarm. Dieses legendäre Studiolaufwerk von Thorens mit Riemenantrieb ist mit einem besonderen Tonarm ausgestattet. Ein Magnetgelagerter Tonarm aus Birnbaumholz mit Entarsien, in der länge verstellbar bis 10 Zoll. Die berührungsfreie Lagerung ist super leichtgängig und läßt keinerlei Resonanzübertragung vom Laufwerk zu. Dieses Prinzip hat sich schon in vielen anderen, teuren Tonarmen bewährt. Der Tonarm ist aus einem DIY Projekt von mir selbst gebaut worden und klingt sehr dynamisch, musikalisch und zählt zu den mittelschweren Tonarmen. Momentan ist ein altes Elac System montiert, was noch gut funktioniert. Auf Wunsch kann ich auch ein anderes System gegen Aufpreis montieren. Die Tonarmverkabelung ist ein excellentes Clearaudio Solidcore. Die Verbindung zum Verstärker ist mit Silberkabel ausgeführt. Das Laufwerk ist sehr gut erhalten und hat nur kleine Gebrauchsspuren. Der Riemen wurde erneuert, die Bodenplatte wurde gegen eine Multiplexplatte getauscht. Da der Tonarm seinen eigenen Lift hat, ist der rechte Liftschieber vom Thorens außer Betrieb. Wegen des filigranen Aufbaus des Tonarms, kann ich das Gerät nicht verschicken. Bei Abholung kann ich aber alles vorführen und einstellen.
