This is the classic 6DJ8/ECC88 beauty admired by enthusiasts and audio professionals for over 60 years and will still be the top choice in the next 60 years. 7DJ8/PCC88 tube is virtually identical to 6DJ8/ECC88 save for the higher voltage heater, which is 7 volts instead of 6 volts, and therefore has a much longer life than the 6DJ8. You get an awesome upgrade that delivers performance very close to that of E88CC/6922 but costs only two thirds as much or even less. These tubes are more common in Europe than elsewhere, and Siemens is one of the well known brands that made the best 7DJ8/PCC88 tubes.
