Super rare super cool TEAC V 9 Cassette Stereo Player The small power light comes on the colored lights do not seem to work although not sure the cassette I had in had anything on it when I managed to get it to move. Cassette outer plastic cover pops lose when ejecting however now I cant get the tape to eject at all. There are two little plastic hooks that the outer door slides on to. They have snapped off. Im selling the highly sought after TEAC V7000 which is built like a tank and in working order also has had a new capstan belt fitted. The deck would benefit from being calibrated by someone who has the correct calibration tapes and measuring equipment (although it records and plays very good), Ive managed to do some of them myself with my limited equipment. For this reason Im selling on a strictly no returns basis. This is a really high end machine with full manual tape biasing, specs. are higher than the Nak Dragon, any questions please ask? Will include in a 3 pack of Maxell Chrome Super cassettes and a copy of the service and user manual. PS. I was asked about the large capacitors and if they were leaking? I can assure you that what you are seeing is adhesive manufacturers use to secure large capacitors down which has gone brown over the years. (see last 2 pics.)
