Teac A-170S Stereo Cassette Deck. Hello up for auction is a Teac A-170S stereo cassette deck. The playback works but only the RT channel. The LT channel only has a hiss. I tested the Record function the meters show a record working upon playback the tape is blank.The RWD works but is weak some of the longer minutes tapes might not work. The FFW doesnt work at all. The lights in the VU meters are out The headphone jack works only the RT side.the mic function is untested. Tested the RCA connection only the RT side works The Dolby works as so do the CrO2 functions work. The deck needs a good cleaning and lubrication and maybe some belts. The record and Dolby lights work. Be a great for parts. The previous owner scribed his name in the back of unit as shown. Please see photos for more details.
