This is an original model 302 from Tascam. I am the original owner and only user. It was designed and built for the professional recording line. As such many of the specifications for both playback and recording will exceed most home tape components. The build quality, rack mountable, motors and heads designed for hours of use beyond a home component are exceptional. Please look up specifications and reviews (old) but good. This is my original unit and has been in my stereo rack since purchased. There is little wear and tear and virtually none on the mechanical parts. It has been well maintained and always used in a quality system. I did use a 302 and a CD-RW900 as a recording engineer and quality sound and dependability are what made me purchase the same model(s) for home use. A used Tascam 302 tape deck in pretty good cosmetic and working condition (all main functions tested by our engineer) for both recording and playback. Please see the photos for the cosmetic condition as some panels do have scratches. The deck is supplied with removeable rack mount wings if you wish mount in a rack, but it also comes with rubber feet if you wish to remove the rack mounts and just stack with other separates. These decks are well suited for almost any recording or playback application. The two tape wells can operate independently with their own audio input or output, or they can work together for dual recording of a single master. There is also a built-in cascade out function to allow multiple Tascam 302 or 322 decks to be connected together.
