Whats been tested is what I used: FM, AM and the CD and phono inputs over two speakers, although it has hookups for four main speakers and two surround speakers. Its features are robust, but unfortunately, there is a hum. The hum is mild, but certainly present in between songs on an LP or CD, or during quiet parts. The hum is less intrusive in FM or AM mode (no space between songs), so might be ideal for a garage or other environment where a hum wouldnt matter.
