Sony Solid State SQD-2020 Quadraphonic SQ Decoder Preamplifier The Amp was opened and in the inside was thoroughly cleaned. All dirt and dust were blownout of the unit. The outside metal case, front, and wood case were all cleaned. The Amp was tested to power up only. It turned on and all knobs all the front seem responsive. The only issue was the power button didnt turn off when pressed to power down. The toggle itself is lose. When I jiggled it it would turn on and off. This will have to be addressed by thebuyer. I didnt have the capacity to fully test this unit. I usually deal with vintage computers. I am not sure if the wood case is stock issued. It is obviously broken at the top but that shouldbe an easy fix. I am selling this as-is with no returns. Please see photos for content and physical condition. There is no warranty and I am selling as-is with no returns. I work as high school teacher and the only days I can ship are a few days on Monday, and every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Vintage Sony SQD-2020 Quadrophonic Decoder Preamplifier ! READ !! L@@K Used, Tested, and Working. Some controls need DEOXIT and cleaning/servicing. Cosmetically very nice! Very nice vintage unit. Cosmetically excellent with some light flaws here and there (mostly on top cover). But overall clean and no major issues. There are some controls that are noisy or scratchy when engaged or turned. The ones that seem to be the main culprits are the push button ones in the top right corner. That section is labeled system. Just needs a little TLC !
