Linn Sondek LP12 Basik Plus K18 cartridge Valhalla Recent new springs etc. fitted earlier this year. Super Linn bounce. Bonded sub-chassis. I will consider splitting the combination if that interests you. Send me a message with details if so. The Valhalla board is working well and appears to be wholly original. The platter starts quickly and unaided, reaching 33.3 within a few seconds. A really nice original and classic afromosia fluted finish which has been well looked after. Ive cleaned and re-oiled the bearing which is in excellent order. Fitted the Linn Basik LVX Plus (great bearings, no notches) and Linn K18 cartridge which is in very good order, with a nice straight cantilever.I see so many bent ones on Ebay with sellers saying theyre in good condition! The classic Linn-Linn-Linn combination is working superbly and can be demonstrated by arrangement. Bring a record or two and listen to as many tacks as you need to (within reason). The lid has a few slight scratches (see pictures) but has no splits or cracks. The hinges work fine and more than adequately support the lid when open. Im hoping to locate a suitable bung for the armboard to blank the hole used for an Ittok arm rest. ** I have now found a suitable bung for the armboard as shown on the last picture, indicated by a red arrow ** As this is a collection only item, cash on collection only please.

As is typical of Greaves plinths, the mitres are solid, the plinth is true and is fitted with an original top plate which is in excellent condition save for some surface marks near the motor aperture. The Linn Basik LV X arm operates perfectly and is in excellent condition with great bearings and comes with the standard arm cable and new Linn suspension. It also has the original Valhalla PSU which is in great shape. OverviewPoints of note (pictured)There are some light signs of use on the plinth top near the back left edge and on the front left edge. The arm has some light marks on the head shell from previous cartridge fittings. There are some light surface scratches to the lid but it is very presentable.The glue for the serial number sticker on the rear has lost some strength in some areas.This deck is an excellent entry level specification example that represents excellent value for money.

Linn Sondek LP12 Valhalla power supply and switch. Good condition, but it has not been used for years, so I cannot guarantee this works - hence the lower price. The board looks fine, and the switch is excellent. There is some heat browning on the underside, but this is not unusual. Linn Sondek LP-12 Valhalla power supply. An original Linn Sondek Valhalla power supply board for sale. Includes switch. Refurbished by respected specialists Class A only 9 months ago. In excellent condition and full working order. This is one of the original Phillips boards. The Valhalla circuit board is designed to isolate the rotation of the turntable motor from variations in the mains supply. The circuit board operates by using a crystal oscillator, dividing it down to 50 Hz, filtering it to form a pure sine wave, then amplifying this signal to a level which drives the motor. Selling due to upgrade to Hercules.
