This auction includes one vintage Shure model M232 transcription stereo turntable tonearm with a vintage Stanton model 500 stereo cartridge included. Please see all nineteen clear pictures for more details as each are an integral part of this description. Item is free from any loose particles inside/outside its headshell and/or housing. Item is also free from any non original drilled holes, modifications, etc. All parts that are present including the four pin headshell, wiring, cartridge, etc. do appear to be original and intact as shown. The original headshell was found with its original Shure label/emblem on top as shown in multiple pictures above. Please also note the original Shure headshell is free from any cracking, loose parts, etc. The original factory black colored handle is present and functioning. All four factory metal pins are also present and may also be seen in pictures seven and eight. Pictures four through seven portray the original headshell inside and outside. Inside the Shure headshell does include a vintage, period Stanton model 500 stereo cartridge... it remains connected to the four original pins by its also period, original wiring. Please make an additional note concerning the headshells connection to the tonearm; it does fasten and stay connected somewhat, but will need attention from the winning bidder to provide it more stable fastening. As previously mentioned, please review picture eight to see both the four intact headshell pins as well as the four push in pins at the end of the tonearm. The metal arm itself is intact and in excellent overall condition. Pictures eleven through fourteen portray the tone arms original back cover; it is intact and also free from any cracking. Its lined, metal detail is intact just the same. The original STYLUS FORCE scale is also intact as conveyed in picture eleven. Please review pictures two and eighteen to note the original engraved marking(s) located on the metal weight... included in the engraved marking(s) is the original M232 model number. Please utilize ZOOM when reviewing picture eighteen to also note the original Shure factory stamped marking(s). Pictures two and eighteen also demonstrate the functionality of the weight; it does move both ways properly when adjusted.
