This Schiit Audio Asgard 2 headphone amp is in very good cosmetic condition and works fine. It is a Class A amp, so it does run warm and can get hot over longer listening sessions, so nothing should be stacked in top of it (as should be pretty obvious by the large vent grill on top and the sides. On the back are the stereo RCA input, preamp output low/high gain switch...and the course, the on/off power switch. This amp imparts a nice bit of warmth to the music, so it is not for anyone that is looking for a more clinical, technical, or neutral sound. The amp can output up to 1W into 32 ohm headphones, but likely is not a good match for extremely power hungry planar magnetic headphones like the DCA Stealth and Expanse or Hifiman Susvara. A generic power cable is included. Standard ground shipping is included in the purchase price, aka free.

I purchased this amplifier June 2013. It has a few scuffs and some parts of the decals/labels have been slightly worn away. See pictures. Product box not included. Ive pushed the LED power light a little bit back into the chassis because its very bright. It can be restored it its original position with a quick disassembly and reassembly. Includes a 1 meter universal power cord. Also has a new set of feet and Ive included two extra sets :)

This is a used Schiit Asgard 2 headphone amplifier/stereo preamplifier. It is in excellent condition and sounds great, with only very minor signs of wear. I no longer have the original packaging, so the amplifier comes with a standard power cord and nothing else.I was the original owner of this device and have used it a moderate amount over the last decade. Note: If you are unfamiliar with Class A amplifiers, be aware that they run HOT - this is as intended and does not indicate a problem with the device. Be careful stacking things on top of it and make sure the vent holes are clear.

I purchased this unit used on Ebay. I used it for a short time but ended up not using is enough to justify keeping it. It has a few scratches and dings on the exterior as shown. But otherwise it is in full working condition. Listing includes the unit (Asgard 2) and the power cable. The power cable is not original. It did not come with a cable originally. But this is a high quality cable. Tripp Lite 15A, 14AWG, 6ft cable.

Schiit Asgard 2. Great condition with minor cosmetic marks. Provides great power with little noise. Bought 2nd hand a few years back but upgraded to a balanced setup. Comes with all original packaging, unit, and power cable.

Came with my new Schiit Jotunheim 2. Used about one month. Decided to go with a different DAC for my setup. Works fine. So it is stamped “Jotunheim” but it will work for: ASGARD 3, JOTUNHEIM 2, LYR 3 AND RAGNAROK 2 (same multibit DAC card currently on their website for $200 with USB-C). If you aren’t sure how to install, I can send you my tips. Took me 10 minutes to pull it and put the amp back together.

Ich verkaufe den Asgard 2 wegen eines Upgrades. Der Amp wurde ursprünglich von mir als gebraucht gekauft. Dabei fiel mir später auf, dass der linke Output nicht einwandfrei ist. Falls man also den Asgard 2 als reiner Kopfhörerverstärker benutzen möchte, so ist die Funktion einwandfrei, will man ihn aber als Pre-Amp benutzen, beispielsweise an Aktivboxen, so hat der linke Kanal einen Wackler. Aus diesem Grund verkaufe ich den Asgard 2 als defekt!
