In the AU-9900, the preamp section and tone control section are located on the front panel. The power section and power supply section, such as the heat sinker and power transistor, are placed at the rear, adopting a partitioned layout. As a result, each function and operation is independent, but the functions are integrated into one integrated amplifier, reducing mutual interference. Input terminals for players, etc. are provided on the right side panel, and output terminals for speakers are provided on the left side panel, allowing the signal flow to be amplified smoothly over the shortest route.
