A wonderful Rotel turntable in really nice condition. This has been well looked after and spent the last decade of its life tucked away in a loft. I have recently changed the belt drive with the correct belt and bought a really durable one to avoid any future belt issues. Furthermore, I have also purchased and installed a new cartridge. I have hardly used this turntable, only to listen to a few records when I put the new belt in and new cartridge. It plays wonderfully as you would expect from a Rotel. It really is a beautiful turntable, with wooden effect base that is in excellent condition. Some slight marks to the clear perspex cover as you would expect, but certainly nothing significant. A really beautiful piece of vintage audio equipment that will serve its owner well for many years. A very collectable item that will only increase in value as the years go on. Semi automatic [manual onto record, auto return at the end] Condition of deck itself is mint, but the Perspex cover is well marked.Cartridge is Ortothon, stylus is good.Upgrades very long RCA lead 3.5m to allow flexibility when locating the deck.new belt. The stand illustrated is not included in the sale but is available. Custom made by a cabinet maker: very nice. For collection as fragile. Angeboten wird ein Rotel RN-500 HIGH COM Rauschunterdrückung System für Tonbandgeräte und Kassettenrecorder (oder auch andere Aufnahmegeräte).Das HIGH COM war eine Lizenz von Telefunken. a) Es wird als Ersatzteil/defekt angeboten. Die Potensiometer hatten etwas gekratzt, was sich nach einigem Gebrauch (Poti drehen) besserte. b) Ein weiterer Notizzettel sagte Play CAL Regler hinten fast ganz auf NULL, sonst verzerrt er. c) Die Cinch-Kontakte sind nicht besonders, das Metall ist mE altersbedingt korrodiert (ist bei mehreren Geräten so, liegt mE daher am verwendeten Material der Buchsen, aber sie sind etwas besser als die CINCH-Buchsen der mir bekannten Telefunken CN-750).Da ich es aber lange nicht mehr benutzt und jetzt kein Tonbandgerät habe, mit dem ich testen könnte, das Anbieten als defekt. Das RN-500 Gerät hat keine DIN-Buchsen, nur CINCH/RCA-Buchsen. Das RN-500 Gerät und das Tonbandgerät oder der Kassetten-Recorder sind, soweit möglich, wie im Handbuch beschrieben für eine gute Zusammenarbeit/Funktion einzustellen. Die jetzige Einstellung ist mE nicht benutzbar, denn mein damals ca. 35 Jahre altes Tonbandgerät Sony TC-355 hatte bei der letzten Benutzung vor einigen Jahren leider ungleiche Kanalempfindlichkeiten. Beim Rotel geht die Einstellung/Kalibrierung ohne Test-Kassette, es wird eine Testton-Aufnahme auf einem Tonband angefertigt und mit der wird die Wiedergabe eingestellt. Das Telefunken HIGH COM System war eine Entwicklung von Telefunken zur breitbandigen Rauschminderung/-unterdrückung und nicht nur zur hochfrequenten Rauschminderung wie bei Dolby B und C.
