Great looking vintage turntable! Great condition for its age! Seems to be functioning for the most part but the tone arm skates to the centre of the platter as soon as you place it on, not sure how to fix this so selling for parts/ repair See photos for condition

The turntable is still functional, but unfortunately, there are some issues that need to be addressed. The turntable rubber and metal top bit of plate are missing, and the top cover plastic corners have cracks. Additionally, one of the capacitors is burst and needs to be replaced. The item also has some wear marks such as scratches, so please review all photos to assess its overall condition.

Ariston RD80 Vintage Turntable -Rega Tonearm -audio Technica Cartridge. Classic turntable. Linn on a budget. New belt fitted. Ive polished the platter up as it was flat. Has original lid, small crack which doesnt affect use. Comes with a rega r200 tonearm fitted with rb250 weight as I bought without. Works fine, only downside is tone arm clip is missing but the arm sits nicely on its rest with lifter up. Comes with titanium headshell and award winning audio technica cartridge. I will be sad to see this go but need to downsize my collection 99p start

Ariston RD80 Original Turntable - Polished Platter And Plinth. All this needs is a Tonearm , cartridge and lid. Comparable to a Linn sondek at a fraction of the cost. It has 33 and 45 and Ive spent hours bringing a nice shine to the platter as it was dull as dishwater. Selling a used armboard to mount a Linn or Jelco tonearm on an Ariston RD80 or RD40 turntable. Very good condition. Measures 1 cm thick. Not sure what material its made from. Includes the two screws to mount it to the turntable. This was on a RD80 that I bought and have been using for 8 or 9 years. The RD80 had a Linn Basik LVX, but I changed it to a Rega tonearm, so I no longer need this.

Selling my record collection (see my other listings), hence I figured I should sell the record deck too ! Obviously Ariston are a top quality make from back in the 80s. The stylus in the ortofon cartidge was damaged, so Ive replaced it with a brank new Dreher & Kauf stylus unit, which works well (see last photo). The old stylus also included for reference shouldl you wish to buy an identical replacement. The deck is in generally good condition, but has no lid, and there is a slight raising of the finish behind where the arm comes up. The platter is removed easily to allow speed change from 33 to 45. A felt record matt is included.. also a heavy rubber one, but you will need to adjust the springs if you wish to use this, as it causes the suspension system to sit much lower due to the weight. This is a moving magnet cartidge, so needs to plug into an amp with a proper phono input. Collection most welcome (KT3 postcode) and I can demo it, but postage also fine . As its heavy and somewhat fragile, itll be £15 to pack and ship (UK only).
