Quad 306 power amplifier in very good used condition. Tested and in full working order. Cosmetically in excellent condition with just one scratch on one side (see pictures). Comes complete with power cable and power pass through connector to connect to compatible power amp. Sent via eBay postage 2 to 3 day delivery.

Quad 306 2-channel hifi power amplifier. A bit of a classic - tested just now and working brilliantly. This one dates from the early 1990s, I think. I bought this used in 2007 as my first dip into British-made, high-quality power amps, and its been in the loft since I upgraded to my current Naim system a few years ago. I used to pair it with a Meridian preamplifier/controller (not included in the sale) with excellent results. There is a huge amount of info online about the 306 and how good and robust it is. The 306 is small and heavy - 321mm wide. Condition-wise, this one is probably better than average considering its age. Theres some minor damage to the paintwork on the right-hand fin, which is also not 100% aligned with the others, although its difficult to spot unless you look closely. Theres also a very small corrosion spot on the top of the case. Theres been a sticker on the right-hand side at some point before it came to me which has left behind a faint outline - I never really noticed until now. None of this detracts from how it sounds!
