These have an amazing clarity and spaciousness! I was amazed at what 1979 technology could do! They cant do the excessive base thats present in a lot of todays music, though. They measure 22 tall, 10.5 wide, and 9.5 deep. 1979 was the last year that Genesis used the green foam surrounds. The cabinets are not evenly colored, probably from exposure to the sun, and there is a ring on the top of each one, likely form a potted plant. This was the second time Ive replaced foam surrounds, and the glue that was provided dried much faster than the other kit I used. That means that the installation it less than perfect. Also, one of the springs on the wire connectors has broken, so it takes some patience to get the wire to stay connected. These speakers weigh 27 pounds each, so with packaging Im estimating 60 pounds in a 24 X 24 X 18 box. Local pickup would be quite welcome. For some reason Ebays shipping is quoting high estimates. There is another shipping web page that offers much better pricing. Not using Ebays shipping means that you lose some of their guarantees, but if youre interested send me your zip code and Ill see what I can do.
