Pair Home Built EL34 Tube Amplifiers With Partridge Output Transformers CFB/0. Power Supply measures 17 x 6 x 8 3/4. Net Weight Each 25.6 lbs/11.6kg. Power Amplifier measures 14 3/4 x 6 x 7 3/4. Output Transformers are the famous Partridge CFB/O/0.95 & CFB/O/1.7 Made in Britain. Power Supplies have some Western Electric Capacitors. These are huge and heavy capacitors. These were temporarily hooked up to a variac and powered up to 90VAC. It passes signal and sound comes out of both the amplifiers. The octal plugs are provided. Spare power supply for the Ferrograph Series 3 tape recorder (no valves), using Ferrographs own high quality mains transformer and choke (similar to Partridge products and often mistaken for same). Tested and working. HT approx 280V at 80mA. LT 3.15-0-3.15 at est. 3A (Ferrographs transformers were conservatively rated, though, to ensure reliability in hostile service environments like defence applications). Made around 1957/58 but in very good, clean condition. Suggest replacing capacitors, though, unless being bought for TX and choke only. Wiring identical to Series 4 models except the auxiliary socket isnt connected. Voltage selector knob included (not shown in picture) but *not* the mains plug.
