This is a first time assembly bottlehead crack headphone amplifier. I built this kit in as a first time DIY in 2020 and have put countless hours using it. Both tubes were replaced in late 2023 after developing noise issues (just the small tube had issues), the 6080 tube being replaced with a 6H5C, and small tube with the same stock tube that comes with the kit. The case is finished with a brown wood stain and polyurethane coating. The bell is painted with a basic metallic black finish. Anodenspannung beträgt 60V und die Kopfhörer werden über ausreichend dimensionierte Koppelkondensatoren betrieben. Im Verstärker ist ein MP3-Player eingebaut. Es gibt noch einen Stereo-Eingang über Cinch Buchsen. Beide Röhren sind mit dabei. Der USB Stick ist nicht dabei! He was the original owner. I do not know any other history on this unit. Somewhere along its life something got spilled on the amp. Theres some light surface rust and stains. He obviously tried to clean a little of it and it did come off. It needs a very good detailed cleaning. Cosmetics are decent with light normal wear and as stated, it has some stains and surface rust. I give it an 6.5 out of 10, mainly due to the stains. There is NO power cord (it uses a standard 3 prong cord) and a few screws are missing from the bottom that holds the metal frame in place (it has 8 screws holding in place and is secure). Not tested for sound, again NO power cord. NO testing was done. Untested and missing the power cord. Sold AS IS for parts or repair. Pictures are of the exact item youll receive.
