NAD 2400 Two Channel Monitor Series Power Amplifer THX model. Two Zone WORKING when last powered up a couple years ago. Personally Id go ahead and replace the caps with one of the kits available elsewhere on eBay. Solid honest rated power and THX certification means it was built to a high standard. Height is 3 RU for those in the know. Has standard rack mount ears, one of the handles was removed, probably to mount in a cabinet with a door. Front feet are missing, easy to replace. Power cord was cut to about a foot or so. Weighs 27 pounds, lots of iron and copper in this puppy, which is why the shipping is so much. I gather that this particular model is rare and desirable. CONDITION: The rubberized coating on the sides and bottom shows wear. I have no idea why, but there are 2 spots that have turned green. You can see this in the photo. The clear film has always stayed on the front glassy part, so that is in very good condition. Visually the sides look used. Most people will use this upright, with the screen/volume knob facing out, in which case you would not see the sides. If you are looking for this, you probably want the digital inputs it features, as well as its bluetooth functionality. The bluetooth has always worked great with our Android phones and iPads, in fact that is mostly how we have used this amp. Sounds great, does not drop/lose connection. We are getting a different amp with a phono stage, the only reason we are selling this amplifier. This works just like new, and my only concern is that you really need to be sure of what inputs you need. This will not take a single analog input, the inputs are purely digital and wireless. Again, the RAC jacks on the back are a pre-out, not an input. I dont want you to be surprised. I am fully confident that you will enjoy the amplifier.
