Der HT Eingang: Mit dem HT-Eingang (= Home Theater; blauer Pfeil) kann man den neuen A1 in einer Surroundkette nach der von stereoplay propagierten Aus 2 mach 5-Methode betreiben. Das Umschalten auf HT setzt den Lautstärkeregler außer Kraft; die beiden A1-Endstufen gehorchen dem Pegelregler der AV-Vorstufe. Über den USB-Eingang (roter Pfeil) kann auch der PC andocken und MP3-, WAV- oder CD-Dateien abspielen. Geliefert wird der Verstärker mit Netzkabel und Fernbedienung.

Musical Fidelity A1 FBP Fully Balanced Preamplifier, with original boxes, remote control, power connector and mains lead. Comes as 2 components - the power supply unit and the pre-amp funtioning box. Phono input swithable between MM and MC. Aux input and Balanced Input 1 can be switched to HT which bypasses the volume control (assumes the volume will be controlled by your home theatre system). The USB input dates the unit but otherwise it performs very well. I bought it as a stand in while my usual preamp was in for repairs that took some time (some parts nolonger available) and kept it because I thought I might want the convenience of the remote. However, Im getting grief for the number of remotes and the number of spare boxes in the house so the collection needs to be reduced. Happy to demonstrate the item and cash on collection welcome. Delivery, with the double boxing, should be pretty secure, but a packed weight of 14kg plus insurance makes it costly. Any question or photos needed please ask.
