The 77C used two 5” mid/bass woofers (8?-rated) crossing over to a three-driver tweeter array (6-8?) at 3kHz. This MISSION crossover network is in clean, excellent condition. There are no scratches or cracks on the base plate. Plus, it features sturdy binding post gold-plated +/- terminals that still have their banana plug caps and are conveniently angled for simple connections. Also, one of the woofer wires female disconnect clips came off so I replaced it. And, I’ve neatly separated those driver wires with ties for the new owner’s convenience. This MISSION crossover was removed from a great-sounding center speaker several months ago. The 77C is rated from 75Hz-20kHz at 100 watts input power, so it’s a solid platform. And, if considering this crossover for a center-channel speaker building project, the mount plate measures 3?” wide x 3 1/16” tall, it extends around 2½” into the cabinet, the mounting holes are spaced 3 3/16” long way / 2½” short way, and it would require a 3” x 2¼” cabinet cutout. Lastly, the photo below shows the original wiring configuration for the tweeter array and is presented only for reference. I do not have the pictured tweeter. It has been sold. A very nice example of one of the best British amplifiers of the 80s. The Cyrus Two is one of the most highly regarded amplifier designs of the 80s, winning Awards from Hifi Choice and What Hifi? amongst others. There were 3 series and this is the 3rd and most desirable version with die cast alloy shell, toggle power switch and dual volume/balance knob. It has an excellent MM/MC phono stage, 4 line ins and is rated at 50W RMS per channel. Check out the write up and vintagesonics com. This one has been cleaned inside and out, had dust blown out of the up facing phono sockets and had the controls and connections treated with premium switch cleaner. It has some signs of use but is in good overall condition. **UK MAINLAND POSTAGE ONLY** Mission Cyrus PSX Power Supply ~ Serial number C315394 ~ c.1990 Selling for Spares or Repair: The PSX power supply is in working order but is only described as in fair condition as it has received some cosmetic damage to the front lower left hand corner of the alloy casing (please see pictures). Hence listing for Spares or Repair. This external DC power supply is the final version of the original PSX and is for use with the alloy casing version of the Cyrus Two amplifier from the same era. Please carefully study all of the pictures above as these indicate the condition of the power supply and form part of the item description. IMPORTANT - Please note that before connecting any PSX power supply to a Cyrus Two amplifier you must first remove the 2 fast blow glass fuses inside the Cyrus Two amplifier - The two fuses are labelled as FS1 and FS2 and are mounted on the Cyrus Two amplifier circuit board close to the transformer unit. Two Mission 760 SE speakers - in good condition and working perfectly

Selling due to upgrade to wireless system. Youre bidding on a used Cyrus 2 integrated amplifier, with MM/MC phone pre amp. This is a pure analogue amp. The amp is setup to work only with the PSX power supply unit, if youre intending to use as a stand alone unit, youll need to fit two 4ohm fuses. (you tube video from Dr cassette, sets this process out very concisely - google How to modify/unmodify a Cyrus 2 amp for use with a PSX! The photos show there is a little rust on on to the tape RCA inputs, a small scratch on the front panel, and small chip in the PSX power input plug plastic surround. None affecting performance. User manual can be found online - google Cyrus 2 user manual The amp comes as seen in the photos, with a power cable and UK standard three pin plug. I dont have the original box unfortunately.
