Welcome to my listing for my rare Mission DAD5 CD player. This unit is in full working order and sounds very nice indeed, with the venerable SAA7321GP Bitstream DAC onboard. The transport is the legendary Philips Swing Arm CDM-4/19 unit, which is known for its reliability and stability. The sound quality from this Mission is very smooth and refined, with very good imaging and a wide, expansive soundstage. It reads and navigates discs quickly and quietly. Cosmetically this CD player is also in very good condition overall. The only issues are the labels have worn off the play and pause buttons on the right hand side. The play button is also a bit wobbly but it still working and functions as it should. This is reflected in the lower price. Please inspect the photographs to see details. Im quite sure this would be a very easy fix. There are a few light marks on the top panel but you wont be disappointed with the sound quality or build quality of this rare Mission CD player.
