This is my original CD player, bought in the late eighties from Richer Sounds. I've had it serviced and the tray mechanism replaced (these fail over time). It has a few scratches (see pictures) but is in pretty good condition apart from that - display, tray and controls all undamaged and work fine. Comes with the original remote control and plays wonderfully.

Marantz CD Player model CD52 Mk2 with Remote, Cable & Instruction Book in very nice condition. Really well built early bit-stream model with excellent sound quality. Plays CDs and the tray opens and closes smoothly. The remote works. P.S. Tried it with the audio output, have not tested digital output. The casing is in nice condition with no noticeable scratches (It belonged to my father in law and was very carefully looked after).
