Excellently working Systemdek IIX turntable, with Linn Basic Plus LV X tonearm. The motor was replaced about 10 years ago, but the TT has been unused since that time. This comes with 2 platters! The original glass platter, and a far better platter made from acrylic, and thicker than the stock platter. The acrylic platter removes some of the splashiness in the upper mids, that glass platters are known for. The Linn tonearm is in great condition, and the bearings are tight, with no play. There are minor scratches, which could easily be repainted. Includes the cover, but it has a piece broken off from the back. Let me add, that the foam wedge dampers in the springs are fairly old, and should be replaced. This is an extremely easy and cheap process, and any good audio forum should have members that can help. Linn Basik LV V Tonearm with phono leads bnc connectors. Fitted to a Thorens TD160 as a test rig for final test before sale. Originally off my Linn Axis but I swapped it out for an Ittok then traded up to lp12! Never used and is in brand new condition. Bearings are smooth as silk. Arm Floats beautifully! Can include headshell and cartridge but consider these as free. They are off another turntable and the cantilever is slightly biased to one side. Still sounds really good and tracks really well. Superb budget arm from Linn back in the 1980s. Very underated and performs very well on decks such as Thorens TD160, Heybrook TT2, etc. Complete with arm base and mounting bolts.

Note, following some enquiries, I would just like to confirm that this is for one spare headshell only, no tonearm included.(I do have a Basik tonearm, it is currently in use but I may list it in coming days).The headshell has been tested in that tonearm and is working perfectly.I will include a suitable allen key required to loosen/tighten the headshell mounting clamp.
