We checked each channel for output and amplification and found it to be working within specifications. The mini fans on the top of the amplifier were plugged in and the led power indicators turned on. The fans are set to turn on at 90 degrees but we did not run the amplifier long enough to reach that temperature. No additional testing was performed. Used & Perfertly Working Description: Intended for systems where the additional output of the RX-7 or the ZX-7 is not necessary, the Lexicon GX-7 – with 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms – has more than enough power to drive most multi-channel speaker systems. When driving a 4 ohm load, the output of the GX-7 increases to an impressive 188 watts per channel. In order to facilitate easy system integration, the GX-7 includes a 12-volt trigger input on the rear panel so that it can be powered up remotely by a separate device with an output trigger, such as a Lexicon Digital Controller. A rack mount is also available. With its clean, quiet power, the GX-7 serves as an exceptional addition to any multi-channel home entertainment system. Lexicon LX-7 Seven Channel Power Amplifier. Pulled from working system. As is. The amplifier was replaced with newer model. Trigger input is a little finicky. Meaning sometimes it responds to 12v trigger and sometimes not. But the amp manually turns on and off with button no problem. Shipping determined after purchase. It says up to $167. We’ll see.
