This auction is a for a Harman Kardon Signature 2.1 5 x 100 W power amplifier. It was part of a pre-amp/amp combo that retailed for $3,500 in the late 90s. I purchased this item new (refurbished) direct from Harman in 2000 (or thereabouts). It has been the workhorse in my living room audio system for more than two decades. It has always been kept in a clean, smoke-free household. There are some light scuffs that show up in the photos. Honestly, the the lighting in the photos exaggerate how visible these are; I hadnt really noticed them and had to go back to confirm theyre really there (not just dust). But I do believe you cant really see them in normal viewing. Ill also include the 1/8 mono 12 V trigger cable (not pictured). Im also selling the pre-amp (Signature 2.0) in a separate auction if youre interested. Local pickup is an option for both.

I bought this to biamp my mains but found the 2.1 was more than enough. So it has never been used I have it since it was new. This and the 2.1 are Mark Levinson Designs and there version of it sold for 4k. The amp is a beast. And very rare.

Used but in complete working order. Original purchaser from Circuit City back in 1999. Pre-HDMI AV Pre-Amp Processor (Signature Series 2.0). The 5-Channel Amplifier provides 100-watts per channel @ 8 ohms or 150-Watts per channel @ 4 ohms per specifications (see photo). Amplifier comes with original box. The blue lighting behind the Signature badge on the amplifier only lights up in the middle (see photo), this does not effect the performance of the amplifier. Also included in the sale are four (4) Monster Cable M550i RCA interconnects. HARMAN/KARDON signature 2.1 5 channel amp upgraded The GOOD about this amp. I have spent a lot of money on this amp upgrading the internal parts. All the caps have been replaced and up sized/ the main rail caps have been upgraded from 12,000 uf to 18,000 uf. The main power wire was removed and upgraded with a 12awg plug with a ground. This amp has always been cooled with forced air cooler. Amazing output and sound quality. The BAD News about this amp. Channels 2 & 4 have stopped working. This is a 3 channel amp right now. I have unplugged the power leads to those bad channels to stop any more damage from happening. Could be something small i have not had it checked out. I only needed it for 3 channels for lcr duty. Thats all the bad news there is. This is amazing amp and anyone would be lucky to own this amp.
