Grado generators were designed around nude diamonds which Grado now only reserves for their cartridges at the top of the range starting at over $600. Grado no longer makes nude diamond replaceable styli for the Prestige series and the $600 models do not have user-replaceable styli. What is there to do if you want to hear a Grado as it was originally designed but don’t want to drop serious coin? You can try to find NOS Grados like the old M or G series or the even more difficult to find Signature series. Or you can have your current Grado retipped to a nude diamond.
