Der Sony befindet sich in einem ausgesprochen gutem Zustand.Das Laufwerk ( Lade besteht aus schwerem Guss) schließt und öffnet sauber und leise, die CD wird sofort eingelesen (Laser ist nagelneu) und das Laufwerk (gewartet) erledigt seinen Job fast geräuschlos.Der äußere Zustand ist,bis auf ein paar minimale Kratzer,tadellos,der Player ist sehr wenig gelaufen,es gibt keine Schmauchspuren in der Deckelinnenseite,alle Beschriftungen sind in Ordnung und die Platine ist sehr sauber.Alles in allem eine nahezu neuwertige Anmutung. Der eigentliche Clou des Geräte liegt jedoch in dem Klangtuning,das er bekommen hat: Das Gerät wurde modifiziert,viele der Elkos gegen Elna Silmic II Kondensatoren getauscht.Als Bypässe habe ich Vishay Mkp´s verwendet,diese sorgen für konstanten Stromfluss und eine feinere Wiedergabe. Zusätzlich ein neues Netzkabel Lapp CY 110 mit Kabeleinlass und wertigem Stecker. Die Dioden zur Gleichrichtung sind hochwertige Soft Recovery Dioden.Des weiteren wurden die veralteten D/A Wandler (RC 5532 DD) gegen hochwertige Burr-Brown OPA 2604 getauscht. Dieses Klangtuning versetzt den Sony-der schon als Serien-Gerät gut klingt- in eine neue, gehobene Klangstufe.Das Klangbild hat sich in jeglicher Hinsich verbessert: Auflösung,Bühne,körperhafte Wiedergabe,Brillianz+Dynamic sind auf einem hohem Niveau,richtig High Endig.Klanglich auch seinen großen Brüdern (333,555) überlegen!
