The speaker cabinet has some light wear scratches and swirling expexted on piano black cabinets, but it is overall in great cosmetic condition. The speaker was tested and sounds great. Alles schön, aber aus den sonstigen Trümmern kam keine MUSIK heraus. Anders bei dem B&W, der gewohnte Sound der 800er Serie plus der Funktionalität eine echte THX-Anlage zu haben. Natürlich konnten wir mit der 801/802 oder besser 803 tollen Heimkinosound erzeugen, aber hörbar lustig fanden die das nicht. Mit dem viel günstigerem System konnte man aber B&W-Sound haben. Allein die 800er Bässe steckten ja nicht in normal dimensionierten Lautsprechern. Im Einsatz an den folgenden Systemen insbesondere DTS hat das Roll-On ja keine Rolle mehr gespielt. Das war ja von vornherein so gerade, da war THX einfach nur ein Name. ABER, die Dinger haben es alle in sich. Wie auch immer. Ich brauchte den besten Center den wir im Hause hatten. Betrieben mit einer ALOIA ST-13.01 und dem THETA CASABLANCA. CC-3, CC-6 von B&W waren gegen meine Velvet lächerlich. Der FCM hat es gemanaged. So hat ein Teil zum Nächsten geführt.
