CELESTION DITTON 332 vintage speakers in walnut The cabinets have been cleaned and lightly sanded, then refinished with Danish Oil. Internal damping foams were washed. All the metal driver surrounds have been painted. Original grill cloths have been refreshed (washed) and re-glued. Crossovers have been re-capped by HaycrossAudio: -Existing inductors tested and retained. -Capacitor pads removed and boards cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. -New matching value ALCAPs fitted to woofer and midrange circuit. -Poly capacitors fitted to tweeter circuit to improve clarity and openness. A resistor is added to correct the change in ESR. -resistors replaced with higher power rating. -New high purity copper wiring added. Consecutive serial numbers : 328701 / 328702 Original grills cloth covers + specification leaflet Great sounding speakers. 8 Ohm 90dB senitivity 100 Watts max power rating H 650 mm W 356 mm D 285 mm

Celestion Ditton 33 Speakers. Working but sold as spares or repair. The tweeters were replaced but the original pair come with them , they need new dome coils which are available. Speakers have marks please see photos. Complete with original covers. Collection only from Dorset to large & heavy to post.

Celestion Ditton 33 Crossover Rebuild service. (Later PCB version shown but listing also covers earlier point to point paxolin boards) Post me your crossovers. I will refurbish them and post them back. Return postage included. I have years of experience with loud speaker repair, restoration and upgrading. What you get. -All old components stripped off. -Existing inductors tested and retained. Ive never found any of these to have failed. -Capacitor pads removed and boards cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. -New matching value ALCAPs fitted to woofer and midrange circuit. -Poly capacitors fitted to tweeter circuit to improve clarity and openness. A resistor is added to correct the change in ESR. -New high purity copper wiring added. (Directly connected to delete the push fit connectors. The Ditton 33 does not work well with poly caps in place of the original electrolytic type on the woofer and mid circuit. It upsets the voicing and causes impedance issues.
