Hier kommt ein sehr guter CD Spieler von Marantz zum Verkauf. Schon das Basismodell wurde geschätzt, aber dieser Player setzt nochmal einen obendrauf. Der hauseigene Entwickler Ken Ishiwata hat ihn nochmal deutlich aufgewertet. Unter anderem wurde der Trafo gegen einen Ringkerntrafo getauscht, das Gehäuse mit Kupfer ausgekleidet und versteift. Die analoge Ausgangsstufe wurde überarbeitet. Mit diesen Verbesserungen konnte sich der CD-Spieler mit deutlich teureren Geräten messen und erlangte einen schon beinahe legendären Ruf. Bei dem vorliegenden Exemplar handelt es sich um ein viel (und gerne!) benutztes Exemplar. Deshalb sind auch Gebrauchsspuren vorhanden, aber nix dramatisches. Die originale Fernbedienung hat den Geist aufgegeben und wurde durch einen Nachbau ersetzt. Funktioniert perfekt und bedient alle Funktionen, auch die, die nicht am Gerät abrufbar sind, wie Lautstärkeregelung und Dimmen der Anzeige. Das Laufwerk wurde vor Kurzem getauscht. Der Player reagierte etwas empfindlich auf Fingerabdrücke und Kratzer auf den CDs. Jetzt spielt er wieder perfekt, sehr kurze Zugriffszeiten, sehr gute Fehlerkorrektur. Verkauft wird er, weil sich ein T+A CD Player eingefunden hat, der ebenfalls sehr gut klingt und optisch einfach besser zum aktuellen Setup passt. Wenn noch Fragen offen sind, einfach schreiben. Been in storage since 2002 until January this year. Original Made -in- England unit before production was moved to Japan and Marantz started using Chinese made parts. Ive compared with a later model and the UK unit does actually sound ever so slightly better, although hardly anything in it. I listed this item several months ago and used it during the listing... decided to stop the listing because it sounded so good. Has a warmth and musicality new players dont have, probably due to the old style components that basically sound better than todays eco friendly replacements. Im under orders to reduce the amount of gear I have, so its going this time! Also selling a matching Ki Signature PM66 amplifier, which is a perfect combination. Marantz CD63 mk.II KI Signature Has issues, it does play. Sometimes it can take it a minute to realise there is a CD in there. When it does play, it doesnt like anything with scratches Also the eject button can be unresponsive. It does have the remote control so it you can eject using that. Selling for parts because of the listed issues
