probably ca. 1970s; the standard spindle clamp. Just normal light wear and tear and dust in the crevices. Good working shape for your old Ampex, Scully, or other decks!

You are bidding on an Ampex Model 350/351 professional reel to reel tape transport. I believe it is from the 1950s and is labelled 350R. It appears to be complete and all original, but is untested. The heads are present. It was rack mounted, and sat unused for a long time, so lubrication and cleaning is needed. No amplifier is included. I believe these were workhorses for the musical recording industry. It measures 19 by 15 3/4 inches at the front, and is roughly 8 inches deep below the front panel, and 3 inches above the front panel. It should be needed by someone. Shipping weight is 55 pounds.
