Hello, Thanks for viewing my auction, today I have a very rare Akai CD-D1 CD Player with factory box and packing for sale. This piece was part of a large audio collection and I have never used this piece. As such this piece is being sold as-is for parts or repair. These are rare and even more so with original packing. This is a very clean piece for its age and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. This piece could be fully functional or require work. I do not have the time to test all the pieces that I inherited. I have powered it up and it opened the drawer and was able to accept a CD and eject it. CD spins and when pressing several of the buttons they react. I did not have it hooked up to any system as I’m sure it needs a service. The manufacture tag says it was August of 1983. Please review all the photos attached to this listing. This item could have dings, dents, scratches, scuffs, or anything else that could have happened over the years.
