There are some slight scratches on the metal top however these are light and hardly noticeable unless looking very close (see pictures). Otherwise this is like new! Unfortunately, when it arrived at the buyer’s home, the right-hand drawer would no longer open, despite adequate packing. When the OPEN/CLOSE button is pressed, OPEN appears on the right-hand portion of the screen but the right-hand drawer does not open. The buyer returned the item to me and I refunded their purchase due to the change in condition during shipping. Thankfully, Fed-Ex did cover the damage because of their mis-handling. This may be something that someone is willing and able to fix. It still powers up and the left-hand portion of the player still works, but please note this is being sold AS-IS/FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING. I will NOT accept a return on this AS-IS/FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING item. I just patiently allow this little routine to finish itself, then press OPEN/CLOSE again, and the drawer will open after another press to two. The drawer usually stops being so difficult at this point. The right drawer opens and closes without fussing. I find a majority of my items in thrift stores or at garage sales, so I am likely not an expert on the piece or a representative of the manufacturer. I do my best to test what I can and then describe functionality and condition as honestly as possible.
