Acoustic Energy AE109 Floor Standing Speakers. The tweeters and woofers are in excellent condition, two of the foam surrounds have come away, I have the special glue which I bought especially to stick it down, I havent used it as they work perfectly as is but will include the glue with sale. Also one of the foam surrounds has a slight rip which could also be glued but doesnt effect performance. I have taken pics to show, the actual wooden frames are in pretty good condition, few pulls on the grills but I think they could be tidied, also slight discoloration of bottom of one grill but imagine with a clean it would go. The sound on these are amazing, I have been using both my pairs of these in my home cinema set up and have loved every minute, I have to let them go as I finally managed to get a new setup after a lot of saving. Collection from LE89AL only as they are very heavy.

In fantastic overall condition for there age, sadly and rather annoyingly, the rescue cat got her claws on them when I wasn’t aware, before i put them back in storage after photographing them for listing on eBay...! Although a little unsightly, the damage is superficial, restricted to the main drivers’ foam surrounds and doesn’t affect them sonically - no doubt replacements can be sourced from Acoustic Energy or eBay, should this be of importance to the buyer...?! They are preloaded with Atacama ‘Atabites’ loading, to improve bass response, etc, so heavy again on top of their already substantial weight. Will be sent using Parcelforce’s ‘express48’ service, so any postal costs will reflect this, but they can also be collected or (if preferred) delivered/handed over, providing the distance is no more than say 75miles from Cardiff - Chievely or Strensham Services, for example, or a mutually convenient alternative location.
