Offering an Adcom GFP-750 preamp. It is in very nice shape with some signs of wear. This is the highly regarded blue board version, and this example has been serviced with new electrolytic capacitors which is a common issue with these preamps. The GFP-750 was designed by Nelson Pass and is considered far and away the best that Adcom ever produced. This preamp offers a unique feature in that it can be operated in active as well as passive mode. The remote is not included; however, the remote functionality works and can be accessed with a universal remote.

Class A Stereophile magazine rated. Also comes with programmed aftermarket remote. Used it for volume control, not sure what else it will do as volume is all I need. I unplug my gear when not in use. Very nice piece. Overall very nice condition. It was in a working system hooked up when I received it. It is in working condition, but I have not personally tested every function and input. ADCOMGFA-5802 AMP and GFP-750 PREAMP (ADCOM FLAGSHIPS):These are considered to be the best amp and preamp that Adcom has ever produced, and the examples offered here are in pristine condition. GFA-5802 AMPLIFIER: The Adcom GFA-5802 is a High Current MOSFET amplifier designed by the legendary Nelson Pass. It is the best example of the companys effort in stereo amplifiers. It has balanced and single-ended inputs, with two pairs of sturdy gold binding posts per channel (for bi-wiring, if desired). 300Watts per channel into 8 ohms, 450 Watts into 4 ohms. This amp can handle any speaker. Bass control is superb and the overall sound is detailed and transparent. GFP-750 PRE-AMP: Also designed by Nelson Pass, also utilizing MOSFET architecture. This is a purely analog preamp. It can be used in passive mode (i.e., it will function as a “straight wire with attenuation”) or it can be used as a conventional line stage preamp. It has balanced and single-ended inputs and outputs. Note: This GFP-750 preamp is the BLUE CIRCUIT BOARD version. This BLUE circuit board preamp is considered superior to the RED circuit board version that was produced later on and at a different facility. More information about this is available online. This amp and preamp set comes with the original factory remote control with new Duracell batteries installed. These original remotes sell online by themselves for $100 (each). Heavy-duty power cords and manuals are also included. The amp and preamp will be shipped in separate boxes. The $195 shipping price covers both of these heavy boxes.
