Vintage Yamaha CR-1000 FM Stereo Receiver AmplifierDescriptionIve used it in my bedroom for many years, albeit infrequently. I believe it is original and has not been modified. It is confirmed that the MM cartridge playback of records from PHONO1 is possible, AUX 1, 2, and then the CD deck can be played. Both speaker terminals A and B should be connected to the speaker and output sound. thats all. The tape deck and microphone have not been tested for connection. During the one-hour test, it was stable and noise-free, and I felt it was in very good condition. As expected, there are scratches and stains. I have cleaned it but it is not removed. Part of the plastic surrounding speaker terminal A has a crack that protrudes toward you, so you have to be a little careful when connecting the speaker cords, but you can connect them properly. The sound is wonderful, delicate and clear, and I think its a Yamaha amp that delivers tight low frequencies. Its been nearly 50 years since it was released, so if you feel that there is a problem, I would like to purchase it from someone who has the skills to repair it. I think that it is a rare amplifier that you do not come across for a while, so I would appreciate it if you could understand the value of this amplifier and cherish it. The VERY DARK wood grain VINYL veneered wood cabinet is in Great condition with some light scratches, scuffs & imperfections. The front silver plate & Control knobs have been cleaned & are in fantastic condition with just a couple of small imperfections. all graphics look fantastic. All control knobs, buttons & switches are in great cosmetic condition. All controls work without noise or scratchiness. This receiver has been tested & powers up & sEEMS work FINE although this receiver has features I am not familiar with. any noisy controls or buttons were lubricated if needed & all work controls without noise or scratchiness. the tuning meter lights works. A FLAW I DID FINE IS THAT THE B-SPEAKER RIGHT GRAY POSITIVE TWIST LUG TERMINAL IS FINICKY SO WHEN OR IF YOU DO USE/CONNECT SPEAKERS UP TO THE B-SPEAKERS YOU PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE THE UNIT ON WHEN CONNECTING UP THE SPEAKERS.
