The Rec Level dial causes slight interference when turned slightly left of center. This only happens a little bit in that one spot. We cleaned and de-oxidized the dial and for the most part it works fine. This deck had rust damage. We removed the rust and cleaned and painted the affected areas to stop rust from forming. We painted the bottom chassis as well. Its not perfect but we only did it to stop the rust reforming. Because of these issues, we are selling this deck as used and not a complete refurbishment and ARE NOT accepting returns for any reason. Lower price reflects this issue.Please see photos. Sold AS-IS. Up for sale is Sony TC-KE500S Stereo Cassette 3 Head Player does not play just good for repair or parts. The deck does power up but I tried to test it to see if it still played cassettes, it makes a noise but won’t play the tape. Might be a simple belt issue or something else. Some cosmetic damage on the sides/top but powers right on.

Unit does not play. Makes noises but wheels don’t turn. Display seems to work fine! Front of the unit is very clean, top has a couple small scratches. Unit only, as seen.
