Panasonic RQ-S11 Slim Cassette Aluminum No Test Free Ship (SD5) This unit is in nice looking condition even with marks, scuffs and a crack in the front small window This unit I must admit I do not think I have ever checked it out, mainly because it used the Gum stick battery and I did not have the standard battery adapter that you could get for it. This is the thin unit with the metal top which as I said has a crack in the small window plastic I am including the battery, as It was still in the unit! but I am sure it is dead by now. No way I can test at this time and selling as parts or show and as-is Not perfect but a nice cassette for your show collection at least. Slowly going through my collection of radios and other old equipment I have had for decades. And kept in bags and boxed up, not just dumped in a drawer. But time has taken its toll on batteries and belts so this is sold AS-IS No returns even if it is not working. I have an electronics back ground , but I can not fix all , I just do not have the time and I have a bunch to go through. However 20-year-old rechargeable batteries and earphones with remote control are treated as junk and not evaluated.I didnt find any scratches or dents that should be pointed out on the exterior of the main unit so I think its a beautiful product.The attached battery box can be operated with a single AA battery. It also supports a 1.5V AC adapter which is nice.This RQ-S series is almost the same size as a cassette case! Equipped with 2-step S-XBS settings and ASC that corrects the presence. The detailed lettering operation system and playful hatch press lines are cool.Noise reduction and sound settings can be set with the micro switch on the main unit. For the drive unit the pulley has been improved from resin to brass and a mechanism that allows the tape to evenly contact the head has been taken into consideration for sound quality.The mechanics are in good condition and the replacement rubber belt which is equivalent to the genuine one is resistant to deterioration over time and the tuning meter is used to adjust the speed.
