About unit.: The word Stasis displayed prominently on the amplifiers front panel is a clue that it uses circuitry designed by Nelson Pass, who is responsible for the Stasis amplifiers manufactured in the U.S. by Threshold Corporation. Cosmetic Condition: The receiver is in good cosmetic condition. The casing shows some wear from use (scratches, scuffs, etc (See Pictures). Please check on the photos for detailed condition of the product. Functionality: The receiver is in working condition.Due to the extremely heavy unit, returns are not accepted, they will only be accepted if the unit is defective within the 30 day period. Up for sale is a very nice, properly working Nakamichi PA-7 solid state power amp. It easily puts out 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms on our Sound Technology test panel. More importantly it sounds great on music! We played music on it for 4-5 hours without any signs of trouble and tested it cold the following morning and all was still good! Were giving it a strong 7 of 10 for cosmetic condition, just a few minor blemishes here and there. The main cosmetic issue is the white circles on the top about the size of a nickel. Were not sure what caused these but suspect something with sticky feet sat on it at one point. We tried to get the blemishes off but they didnt yield to the simple stuff like Windex, alcohol or Soft Scrub. So we decided to leave the cleaning to the the new owner if it is a problem for them. Also the bottom cover is a little rough as shown. It looks very clean on the inside. It doesnt appear to have any repair work done on it previously although we cant tell that for absolute sure. Comes with 3 prong IEC power cord which may not be the original. Copy (not original) of the owners manual included. It will be very well packed and we promise it will arrive working and exactly as described No long term guarantee beyond that. Local pick up in Berkeley is fine if prepaid. Since were now operating without a storefront we are unable to offer audition of the piece.
