Pair of KEF model 107/2 type SP3119 Speaker Towers. I purchased a house and these were in the home. As you can see in the pictures, one of the towers was mid repair on both speakers . I have not tested either of them. I am selling them as is just as they sit. The exterior portion of the boxes is quite nice with only a couple minor blemishes. It would appear that the speakers were either being replaced, or repaired Otherwise seem complete. I am not a audio person so I apologize for my lack of description. What you see is what you get. Offered for your consideration is a vintage KEF Type SP1205 8” (200 mm) woofer removed from my C40 speakers, manufactured in England c.1987. KEF used a practically identical 8” mid/bass driver in several of their other C-series models in the mid-to-late 1980’s, but unless your blown or damaged unit has KEF Type SP1205 stamped on the magnet cover, the impedance may not be correct for your speaker.So, please take a look at my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this superb KEF mid/bass woofer is correct for your needs. *Although the listing is written in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical KEF SP1205 woofers are available at the time of this writing. Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This KEF woofer is in clean, excellent condition. The black polypropylene cone is in great shape with no flaws whatsoever and the voice coil dustcap is perfect as well. I should mention that the dustcap atop coil is raised slightly off of the cone which, along with the “bottle cap crinkle” at cap bottom, appears to be for dissipation of heat. Plus, the surround is permanent rubber instead of the fragile foam widely used by most other makers in the 1980’s, and the black enameled basket is also in great shape. And, the double-type +/- terminals measure the standard .205”, are marked for polarity, and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this is one very well-preserved mid/bass driver. Most importantly, it was fully tested in the C40 cabinet before disassembly and sounds splendid—very clear with fast, detailed midrange and solid low-end output for the platform size. KEF is renowned for the accuracy of their mid/bass units. Plus, I tested the DC resistance at 3.3-3.4? consistent with a 3 ohm nominal driver rating. The C40 uses two SP1205 drivers per cabinet, one for midrange and bass, the other for only bass, and they’re series-wired in the crossover for the speakers’ net nominal 8 ohm rating. Lastly, the basket measures 8¼” across (9¼” at the truncated corners), it stands 3½” tall, and the mount holes ae spaced 6” adjacent / just over 8½” on the diagonal, c-t-c.This is a nice if you have a blown or damaged 8” driver in your C40 or other suitable KEF model—your classic British speakers will be sounding their best again!As pictured and described, this KEF Type 1205 bass/midrange woofer is offered at a competitive price. KEF CRESTA MK2 Im selling 1969 vintage KEF Cresta loudspeakersPrototype ls 3/5a -- Columns on the superb T27 and B110 drivers - the same as in the iconic ls 3/5a.The ls 3/5a used slightly smaller boxes and a more complex crossover.Columns in good technical condition, drivers without damage. The grilles are included (the frames need to be refurbished as they are fading and fine dust is falling off). Cases - condition as in the photos - no dings or losses.Exactly this model played a few years ago at the Audio Show Poland - Warsaw in the Sulek Audio room.I recommend - BBC sound for relatively little money!!!

KEF Reference walnut Speakers 102/2 Vintage, spares or repairs. Bought in 1994, vintage award winning speakers. Can be biwired for a better sound. Sounded fantastic in my Adcom pre/power amp/ Micromega CD set up. One speaker is fine, the other is tinny and suspect woofer is knackered. Selling due to relocate and space issues. Still have fronts that clip on but need a clean. Had a couple of bumps and marks over the years, see the pictures for the damage. Few dents and marks. Quite heavy, weigh 8kg apiece. Collection only
