JENSEN MARINE AM/FM RADIO W/ CASSETTE MODEL JSM 94 HIGH POWER 4x15 -UNTESTED- The radio is untested, the person I bought it from said it was working last it was used but has been stored for a while. It looks like someone took care of it when putting it away with the zip ties but I cannot say for sure it works 100% in all aspects. Its a older model marine radio made by Jensen and model JSM 94 and has a cassette player as well as as/fm. Marked 415 high power. The handle moves back and forth but doesnt seem to lock in place. Not sure it needs to either. Still has the cassette cover. The radios has some scratches and scuffs but in good physical condition. Comes as seen in pics. Any questions just ask. As per the EIA source/date codes on the magnet covers, “2207416” and”2207421”, these woofers were made by Jensen (220) in the 16th and 21st weeks, respectively, of 1974. I believe these woofers are suitable for other period Jensen speakers, but the buyer is responsible for verifying compatibility with their needs. So, please see my large photos, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if these capable Jensen woofers should become yours. These woofers are in clean, very good condition. They have sturdy textured paper cones that have no chips or cracks, just some minor edge scuffs and a spot of errant factory assembly epoxy on one. Plus, the textile voice coil dustcaps are dimple-free perfect. Also, the black-enameled steel baskets have no dents or undie oxidation, just some minor finish wear as pictured. And, there is some minor wear to the flange gaskets and one underside cabinet flange seal segment has gone missing, as pictured. Most importantly, the heavily-aged original polyurethane foam suspension was just replaced with modern polyether foam surrounds that have the correct “flat-attach” inner profile. For sale are a pair of 8 inch 1960s Jensen alnico mid range drivers, model P8-UM. These came from a pair of Jensen Tri-ettes but may have also used in a number of other models. Cones are good and the drivers test well as pictured. This transformer comes from a tape machine setup. This is the exact same shielding case and very similar pin diameter and aspec, same pinout and and also the potting compound color and feel are very close when compared to the other JENSEN transformer in my other auctions. It differs slightly, has no model number and also a bit different specs when tested, but nothing that big. I guess its an early render or a prototype or something tgat was in one of the cards from the taoe recorder I took them from. It is PERFECT for MC-step-up, close to a Western Electric 618B, with just a little lower turns ratio. Originally used as a tape head to preamp input, its a recording studio quality transformer made by Jensen transformers back in the golden era of tube and discrete audio electronics. Its a really rare find! I used to have more of these, but sold them all on Ebay, a long time ago. This is the last pair Ive kept for personal use, but Ill have to also let these go now. You wont see this very often. Seems like a custom job from Jensen. I actually never seen anything alike. I just know the transformers from these cards are made by Jensen transformers because I collect professional audio transformers for over 25 years now, and I know this is jensens mumetal case, a Jensen part number (starts with JE) and also classic Jensen letter printing on model name and soldering pins, and although this particular one lacks the last bit, all the other transformers that looks pretty similar and came from the same cards had those Jensen signature marks.
