Being offered is a 1 meter run of Harmonic Technologys superb, difficult to find, Crystal Silver Phono tonearm cable, factory terminated with Cardas 5 pin DIN connector to RCAs. This particular cable is in overall excellent physical condition with just some normal use & some scratches/paint loss on the connectors & is a later version with the black heatshrinks & Furutech RCAs. This item was purchased as part of a lot & has not been tested. Consequently it is being sold as is. Harmonic Technology designed the Crystal Silver Phono cable to transmit low level signals without loss of detail while maintaining a very high signal to noise ratio, in order to reduce hum and noise. The Crystal Silver Phono cable is unmatched in its ability to provide the highest level of transparency and harmonic richness possible from your analog system. The Crystal Silver Phono is a state-of-the-art dedicated interconnect designed for use with the finest cartridges and turntables. Since the best cartridges today have very low output, a reference phono interconnect must have high resolution to transmit low signal levels without loss of detail. In addition, and perhaps more important, this specialized cable must also have a very high signal-to-noise ratio to reduce hum and noise which destroys low level clarity and transparency. For this reason, Harmonic has engineered their Crystal Phono interconnect using proprietary Twin-Shield design and quad conductors of Bi-Metal filaments. By using two different shields (a braided outer shield with grounding pigtails and one aluminized Mylar shield adjacent to the conductors), the noise floor is vastly improved. This set of 2 Harmonic Tech Pro-9 cables are used. They are extra long at about 16 feet. One of the connectors is slightly broken (see 7th picture) but it does not effect functionality. These cables were my uncle’s who is an audiophile but is selling his system due to a move. It may have some other blemishes from typical use. Please see pictures for details on condition.
