Great DAC from Emotiva. Add your own component amplifier and you have an audiophile 2 channel system. Balanced / unbalanced outputs, headphone connection on the front, 2 optical ins, 2 digital coxial ins, AES / EBU in, USB in, and in / out trigger for other components. Built like a tank. The chassis is one rack unit tall, and is metal and substantial. Even the remote control is metal and sturdy. Fantastic condition. All buttons and connections work perfectly. In fact, I cant see a single scratch on it. Tested playback last week and it sounds great. Comes with: XDA-2 DAC, remote control, power cord, trigger cable, manual, original box + packaging. Used EMOTIVA XDA-1 DAC in working condition. I bought it brand new but now replaced with a newer unit. Comes in a factory double box, with factory power cord and remote. NOTE: I am not sure if the remote works, for I have not used it for a while. There is no manual, but I can include a printed copy, do let me know if you would like one. I purchased them years ago on eBay as Nordost but I’m not 100% confident they truly are. Either way they sound great and heck, they’re part of this package deal! The DAC is in perfectly operational and cosmetic condition. It did the trick for what I was using it for. I no longer need a DAC, which is the only reason why I’m selling it. Check out the pics of the back. It accepts XLR (balanced) and RCA outputs, and coax, XLR, and optical inputs. The XDA-2 is a digital preamp, USB/AES/Coax/optical DAC that can upsample to 24/96 and/or output 24/192kHz. Emotiva says the XDA-2 will support 24-bit/192kHz resolution for all inputs, including USB. The XDA-2 has an Analog Devices AD1955 multi-bit delta-sigma DAC.An Analog Devices AD1896 asynchronous sample rate converter (ASRC) is used to control jitter.Digital inputs include two coaxial digital audio, two optical digital audio, one USB, and one AES/EBU input.The preamp section is an analogue resistor ladder volume control is in .25dB steps so can act as a digital preamp.
