Sony CMT-MD1 mini disc micro system. Cd Radio and mini disc. all in working order. The CD player has had a new laser pick up fitted in the last year, and plays well. A new drive belt for the lid mechanism has also been fitted. The radio picks up well in stereo on FM. The mini disc plays and records ok. I re-covered the speaker grilles with new acoustic fabric, ( not particularly well) but have enough of the material left to cover again, which I will include. Comes complete with remote control and some downloaded printed instructions. The speakers can be used detached from the main unit.

Optisch hat die Anlage benutzungs- und alterstypische Gebrauchsspuren, ist aber ansonsten in einem gepflegten Allgemeinzustand und hat weiters keine nennenswerten Beschädigungen (siehe Originalfotos).Altersbedingt hat das Display allerdings ein wenig an Helligkeit verloren. Similarly, the mini disc tray flashes blue but will not play mini-discs at all to my knowledge. For some reason it simply does not switch to these functions on the screen and is incapable of anything other than the radio/tuner player. Sadly, I do not have the personal knowledge to fix this issue myself or investigate further, so please assume that only the main radio function will work and anything to do with the mini disc player or any other features on the unit does not. Due to this clear fault I will be selling this listing at a heavily reduced price to compensate for the lack of a fully functioning unit.This may be an easy fix in the right hands however.Please be aware of these faults before purchasing to avoid any confusion or disappointment. Additionally the speakers on each side are fully working. No extras, cables or wires as shown in the photos, just the attached power cable on the main unit and the speaker wires on the speakers to the sides. MiniDisc equipped audiophile quality mini system from Sony. This is in very nice condition and works faultlessly. This is particularly good sounding for an all in one system, it's nicely built (mostly metal, and glass) and the speakers are surprisingly decent, with solid cabinets, high quality drive units, and an attractive glossy finish. This has had the CD eject belt replaced so the lid now opens quickly and smoothly. The original AM antenna is included. I will include some good quality speaker cable so that you can set it up right away. Generally in very nice condition, there are some minor imperfections and signs of use, the worst of these is a slightly dented corner on one speaker (photographed). An unusual, attractive, and neat system ideal for a MiniDisc enthusiast.
