Bang and Olufsen B&O Beogram RX2 Turntable with MMC5 Cartridge Needle. Comes with the owners manual.  This was recovered from a family members house as his wife had passed away. This powered on when plugged in and all buttons appear to function properly but I’m aware there is adjustments that are supposed to be made on it. If you watch the video you will hear that the platter is scraping on one side. There is no speaker plugged into the turntable I just want the buyer be able to hear the noise. I’m not sure how to adjust that but it feels like it is an east foxI’ll let the new owner troubleshoot that and will also have this item shipped professionally. Here is a RX2 turntable (without catridge) that I have just finished. I repair/update turntables mainly B&O and Revox and bring these great tables back to life.Overall the table in good shape and the dust cover has a scratch on top and also signs of use and wear but it has been cleaned and polished. Here is what has been done to this table: New rubber grommets (from Beoparts) for motor mount as originals are usually dried up and not effective anymore at helping to eliminate vibrationNew output relay as originals tend to go badHas one plastic support tab in base repaired (see pic) common problem if these tables are shipped without being properly secured New RCA cable see pic Floating chassis, tonearm and gears inside have all been lubed per B&O recommendationsTwo new trim pots for setting 33/45 and speed is accurate as tested with KAB strobeNew electrolytic caps (see pic) on main PCB and Power supply and on small PCB attached to motor as originals have long since dried up and not in spec anymore. Vishay, Panasonic and Nichicon high quality new caps used and most 105 degree toleranceHas spot/line on front of dustcover on left (see pic) I always try to use parts from Beoparts as they are exact replacement and not cheap copies There are NO refunds on these but I will take care of any issues that arise .
