I just inherited this Bang & Olufsen Beosound 9000 with matching 8000 speakers and a Beosound 6500 record tape deck. It is so cool looking, purchased in 1996. The CD player/changer is working and I can get one of the speakers to work, but I know nothing about this stuff and I couldnt find a local repair person to check it out further and the speakers are HEAVY! So this is local pick up in Sarasota, FL. I will l consider shipping, but would I need to get an estimate from a shipping company to come pick it up and pack for shipping. So as long as you are willing to pay the actual shipping costs ( I will add not mark up), then I will consider it. The tape deck I couldnt figure out how to work, so I cant vouch if its working or not. Too many other things to get rid of to spend time figuring this out, but Ive learned that the brand has a dedicated following so hoping someone will have fun with it.
